We’re a Disability Confident employer
Mirus has achieved Disability Confident Committed status, recognising our commitment to creating an inclusive workplace where disability is not a barrier to employment or career development.
Sustainability, corporate responsibility, and Net ZeroCorporate Social responsibility refers to a company’s commitment to ethical practices, social impact, and environmental responsibility. Here at Mirus, we encourage sustainable practices by looking for ways to reduce our impact on greenhouse gas emissions and pursue the UK Government’s net-zero goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 100% from 1990 levels by 2050. Achieving this means that the total emissions produced by the UK would be equal to or less than the emissions removed from the environment. The Welsh Government has also committed to reach net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. By 2030, choosing zero carbon will be routine, culturally embedded and self-regulating across the Welsh public sector. We have been investigating our emission sources to better understand where our emissions come from and calculate their scale. This knowledge has helped us set goals that will help us moving forward, to track progress as well as identify opportunities for carbon reduction. | |
