We’re a Disability Confident employer
Mirus has achieved Disability Confident Committed status, recognising our commitment to creating an inclusive workplace where disability is not a barrier to employment or career development.
Celebrate the incredible people who make Mirus special!
Each year we celebrate the incredible achievements of our staff and people supported by Mirus at our Mirus Stars Awards Ceremony.
The awards ceremony is a fantastic opportunity to everyone to get dressed up, enjoy some fun entertainment and delicious food, and celebrate everyone’s achievements.
How we choose our Mirus Stars
Throughout the year, people connected with Mirus nominate staff and people supported who live our values; Together, Respectful, Responsible, Empowering and Courageous.
Each month, six people are chosen as winners by our Mirus Ambassadors, from the nominations we have received during that month. Our monthly winners are called our ‘Mirus Moments’ winners, and each receive a gift voucher, digital certificate and a shout out on social media. Each Mirus Moment winner also becomes a semi-finalist for our Mirus Stars Awards.
From our semi-finalists, we select our favourite nominations, and those people become our Mirus Stars finalists, whose nominations are then shared with our Board of Trustees, and they have the difficult job of selecting our Mirus Stars winners.
Winners are then announced at the Mirus Stars Awards Ceremony, which we hold during Mirus’ birthday month of November.
