Supported Independent Living

Supported Independent Living is all about enabling people to live as independently as possible in their community.  We support people living in their own homes; sometimes on their own, sometimes with a husband/wife/ partner, sometimes with family and sometimes with friends. Our aim is to encourage and empower individuals to take control and make choices within their everyday lives. We use person centred approaches to develop individualised support plans that maximise independence and focus on assisting the person to live the way they want; achieving the things that matter to them.

Our support is flexible, and the amount we provide is dependent on what people want and need. Some people may only want a few hours of support per week, whilst others may need 24 hour support. We encourage people to work with us, their families, friends and others important in their lives, to identify ways that they can take control of their own lives and fulfil their aspirations.
