Working With Care Inspectorate Wales & Social Care Wales

Mirus is registered with the Care Inspectorate Wales’ (C.I.W) under both Domiciliary and Registered Care Home regulations.

We have a positive working relationship with Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) and engage in open discussions with them about our services. We are complimented on our transparency and openness.

Over many years of inspection, our practice, policies and procedures have been comprehensively scrutinised; we have always shown that our services are of high quality and our performance exceeds national standards.

We have an excellent relationship with Social Care Wales; we’ve worked closely with them to develop national qualifications for staff that set the benchmark for standards of support.

We’re proud of the fact that we support all our staff to gain the skills, knowledge, qualifications and experience required to become (and remain) registered social care workers.  We pay all staff registration fees and fully fund all required training and qualifications for our teams.

We have experienced ‘Registered Managers’ and ‘Responsible Individuals’ overseeing all our services; ensuring they exceed national standards.
