Dianka is inspiring people to be themselves

Area Manager, Sally noticed that mirus staff member Dianka regularly posted pictures and shared stories on the mirus staff Facebook group, and was impressed at how she inspired others to do the same.

Area Manager Sally said:

“Dianka is always out and about doing exciting things in the local community with the people she supports, and by sharing her pictures she has encouraged even more people to be brave and try new things.

She is always so positive, creative and outgoing, and everyone loves spending time with her.”

There’s no time for the people to be bored when Dianka’s working, as she’s always full of suggestions for exciting activities to try, fun things to do and interesting places to visit.

It can sometimes be difficult to motivate people to get out and about, but Dianka’s positive attitude always persuades them to seize the day and have fun. Once they are out they always have a fabulous time!

Dianka is never judgemental and is always supportive, understanding and caring. It’s this positive attitude that has led to the people she supports trusting her to help them take positive risks and try new things.

She encourages the people she supports to try new things, be who they want to be and never be afraid to be themselves. If they fancy growing their hair, dying it purple, or wearing bright yellow sunglasses – Dianka will support them to do it!
