Excellent feedback from Care Inspectorate Wales

Each year our services are reviewed by the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW), who ensure that we are providing the best possible support for people.

One of our services in Bridgend was visited by a CIW inspector recently, and we received excellent feedback from the inspector, the people we support there, and our staff who work there.

Here are just a few of the great things that were said in the report:

Quotes from images:

“People’s interests are encouraged and staff support people to do the things they want to do.”

“People are supported to be as healthy as they can be.”

“People are treated as individuals… Support Workers promote choice and independence.”

“Support Workers are knowledgeable about the people they support…their likes, dislikes and routines.”

“Support Workers support people to do the things that matter to them.”

“[The plans in place] allow people to develop to their full potential.”

“Support Workers enjoy working for the service and feel supported in their roles.”

“Support Workers said training equips them with the skills needed to provide quality support.”

Quote from person supported: “The staff are very nice, I get on well with them.”
