We’re a Disability Confident employer
Mirus has achieved Disability Confident Committed status, recognising our commitment to creating an inclusive workplace where disability is not a barrier to employment or career development.

Inspectors saw that people are supported to live the lives they choose and are involved in making decisions about their support. Support is built around each person, with a clear focus on what matters to them, what they want to do and how they want to live.
People have real choice in how they spend their time. This includes things like work, volunteering, hobbies and activities in their local communities. People are supported to try new things, build their confidence, and grow in independence, whilst receiving the right amount of support for them.
Team members were recognised for the way they work with people, the positive relationships they have built, and how well they know and understand the people they support.
“I am so chuffed that we have been recognised for the excellence in care and support we deliver. The compassion our teams bring to every day interactions is inspiring, and I couldn’t be prouder to lead teams that turn ‘support’ into life changing experiences”.
We’re so happy with the EXCELLENT result and want to share a massive congratulations and thank you to everyone working across the region, and supporting in Central Services.
