#HealthySelfie Winners

Spring is here, and with it comes opportunities to do activities outside. Being outdoors (especially when it’s warm) can really improve our #wellbeing and our mood, so throughout April, we’re running a #HealthySelfie competition.
The competition is open to our staff, volunteers and people we support in all regions. Each week we’ll pick three winners who have taken and shared a photo of themselves enjoying time outdoors, and they will receive a £10 voucher. Double wellbeing boost!
Our final week winners found opportunities to get outside, even in their busiest of days. Josh in Gwent braved the wet weather and completed a fantastic 2.7 miles on a park run with his support staff. Claire in Cardiff planted some beautiful flowers and plants in some outdoor planters with her housemate, week 1 winner Debbie. Amy in Powys was on a long drive and noticed some gorgeous ponies in a field – she took some time out from her drive to take a pit stop and have a selfie with the animals.
Our week three winners are super smiley outside in the sunshine. Tracey in Cardiff used a wonderfully warm sunny day to plant some veg in her back garden, and Nathan and Support Worker Rob took to the park to get some fresh air. No stuffy offices for a staff team in Gwent, who decided to take their work meeting outside, and got in some steps as they planned an event.
Our week two winners got out and about in the fresh air to improve their wellbeing are pictured below. Fantastic Kelly from Swansea committed to run 100k for the British Heart Foundation during the month of April. She’s already absolutely smashed her target, but is continuing to run to raise even more money. She’s raised an incredible £400 so far!
Here are our week one winners who showed us how it’s done!
