We are delighted to welcome Zoe Powell to the Mirus Board of Trustees.
Zoe has over 20 years experience working as a senior finance leader across a variety of sectors, with experience of working closely with Boards and leadership teams to strengthen financial systems and governance, manage risk responsibly, and support informed, practical decision-making.
Alongside her professional experience, Zoe has dedicated over a decade to volunteering, previously as a school governor and Treasurer for a local swim club. She is passionate about working in values-driven environments, where people and culture are as important as performance.
Zoe was particularly drawn to Mirus because of its commitment to choice, dignity, and supporting people to do the things they love, achieve their goals and live good lives.
Zoe said:
“I would love the opportunity to contribute to a charity that has such a positive impact across communities in Wales.
“Becoming a trustee feels like a meaningful way to use my skills to contribute to my community, and I welcome the chance to support Mirus as it continues to grow and navigate the challenges facing the sector.”
Get in touch if you'd like to find out more about the services we provide or if you'd like to work for us.

It’s always great to see team members develop their careers at Mirus, and Nia has done just that!
We continuously listen to people and work with them to make the changes that they want to see.
Congratulations to people across Mirus who have shown that they are living our values every day.
