mirus Chief Executive, Mandy, has announced her retirement

Last week our Chief Executive, Mandy Evans, announced that she will retire in April 2023.

Many of you will know Mandy personally, as she has been part of mirus (formerly Opportunity Housing Trust) for 37 years. Mandy’s incredible passion and commitment to supporting people with a learning disability and their carers has helped shape mirus into the successful values-led organisation it is today. Everyone connected with mirus will miss her leadership, skills and experience when she retires.

By announcing her intentions to retire early, Mandy has given the Board of Trustees at mirus good opportunity to find the right person, who shares our values and vision, to continue to lead the organisation as our new Chief Executive. The Board of Trustees have appointed an executive search agency, who will work with them, mirus staff, and people supported to find the best person for the role.

Here’s a short video of Mandy announcing her retirement at a recent Central staff event.
