His level of commitment to his team is genuinely inspiring and he is always a joy to work with. I think he really raises the bar of what it means to work together.

Lamin Jammeh

Lamin is an absolutely fantastic Support Worker and a real pleasure to have as part of the team. He is very well liked by both the people we support and his colleagues, and he always comes to work with a positive, friendly attitude and a smile on his face.
Lamin is reliable, punctual, and always willing to help wherever needed. He has been a huge support during the setup of the new service within Newport/Gwent and has shown great commitment and teamwork throughout.
Not only has Lamin been doing an amazing job within his own service, but he has also supported services in Brecon, where we have received the same fantastic feedback about how well he is doing. His caring nature, flexibility, and positive approach really stand out, and he has become a real asset to the team.
Jade M
Supported by Mirus in Swansea

Jade is such a caring person. She recently had a new person move into her home and Jade went above and beyond to make sure she felt welcomed and reassured in her new home.
Jade gave a detailed tour of the house to Bethan and told her to just ask if she needed any support from her. Jade talked Bethan through the locators in the house on appliances to help Bethan operate them. Both Jade and Bethan are registered cane users and throughout the tour Jade was giving Bethan the pointers that she uses to locate key things such as light switches which helped Bethan familiarise herself with the layout of the house.
Jade also invited Bethan to activities that aligned with both their interests to build up their friendship and in doing so Bethan was also able to reconnect with some old friends she hadn’t seen in a while.
Jade created such a friendly and welcoming environment for Bethan and their friendship only continues to grow.
PJ
Supported by Mirus in Neath Port Talbot

PJ has shown kindness, enthusiasm, and a real sense of community through sharing his love of gardening with others. He has supported another service to help create a more peaceful and welcoming outdoor space, showing how his skills and interests can have a positive impact on those around him.
He has also volunteered at a local school to support their gardening project, giving his time to help others while building connections within the community. PJ’s willingness to get involved and share something he enjoys has been inspiring to see, and he should be really proud of the positive difference he is making.
Following a recent Multi Disciplinary Team meeting, the local authority in Cardiff praised the team at Clos Ceirios for their support, care, compassion and determination that they have continued to show whilst supporting people.
The team have gone above and beyond, and this has been recognised many times by health professionals also.
