mirus moments – celebrate great people and achievements
What is a mirus moment?
A mirus moment is when someone has done something extra special.
You fill out an online form to recognise someone who has done something great. Filling out the form will nominate them for a ‘mirus moment’ and it is how we find out who has done something amazing so that we can celebrate them.

How do we celebrate?
People supported and staff members can both win prizes through mirus moments.
Other people connected with mirus, such as family members, volunteers, other organisations and people from the community can be recognised on our social media and our website.
Each month representatives from each region will use what you’ve said in your nomination form to pick three people supported and three staff members to win a prize. So remember to include as much detail as possible about the amazing thing the person you’re nominating has done.
Every person supported and staff member who is nominated will go forward to our annual mirus stars awards, where even more people will win prizes.

You can nominate and be nominated by any person who is connected with mirus, including:
- mirus staff members
- People mirus support
- Families
- Volunteers
- People from the community
- People from other organisations
