Have a go at drag performance with House of Deviant

Inclusive Drag troupe House of Deviant are holding an ‘open house’ event for people to have a go at drag performance.


Anyone with a learning disability and/or Autism is welcome to join the FREE workshop, which will be held at The Riverfront Theatre in Newport on Saturday 3rd February 2024. Sophie, who we support in Cardiff (pictured in red) is already a member. She has performed as Miss Shade B**** in lots of shows including at our 2022 Mirus Stars and the Eisteddfod.


  • Date: Saturday 3rd February
  • Time: 10am – 3pm with a break for lunch and rest breaks throughout the day
  • Location: Riverfront Theatre, Kingsway, Newport, NP20 1HG (meet in the foyer)
  • What to wear: Comfortable clothing you can move around in
  • Money: The workshop is free, but you will need to bring food and drink or money to buy some in the cafe. £20 will be plenty.

If you need support you should bring a Support Worker or a friend or family member with you.
