Our mirus Stars Awards are back!

 

We are excited to announce the return of our mirus stars awards.

This year is extra special as we are holding two pre-awards parties in summer, where you will be able to vote for your mirus stars finalists.

Winners for each category will be celebrated at the mirus stars awards ceremony in late autumn.

Pre-awards party dates:

Cardiff City Stadium: Tuesday 12th July

Swansea City Stadium: Monday 18th July

 

We will announce more information about how to book your tickets to all events soon.

 

To make our awards as big and exciting as possible, we need you to nominate people that you think deserve to win an award.

How to nominate:

We would love you to nominate and encourage other people to nominate by completing our ‘mirus moments’ form online at: bit.ly/mirusmoments before Monday 13th June 2022.

 

Who can nominate:

  • people we support
  • families of people we support
  • mirus staff
  • volunteers
  • community groups and organisations

 

Who can win an award:

  • people we support
  • mirus staff
  • volunteers

How winners are picked:

  1. People are shortlisted by a panel of judges based on the nominations received.
  2. You will vote for your mirus stars finalists at our pre-awards parties.
  3. From our finalists, we will pick our mirus stars award winners.
  4. Winners will be announced at our mirus stars award ceremony in autumn.

The awards categories:

Our awards categories match our values, which are; Together, Respectful, Responsible, Empowering and Courageous.

Both of these opportunities are open to people we support, their families, mirus staff members, and mirus volunteers.
