5 Ways To Wellbeing

We’re using Mental Health Awareness Week to kickstart our focus on wellbeing and encourage you to connect with nature and connect with yourselves.

Throughout spring and summer we are promoting the 5 Ways To Wellbeing. Every two weeks we will pick one of the 5 themes, and ask you to get involved by sending your stories and pictures to us using the hashtag #5WaysToWellbeing. We’ll then share those images to inspire others to join in.

We’d love you to share pictures and stories with us through social media. Staff can do this by posting on our mirus main employee group on Facebook – and people we support and volunteers can send their pictures through Facebook messenger to @MirusWales. Please tell us in your message whether we have permission to share on our public social media pages and on our website.

From now until May 16th our theme is #TakeNotice.

The world we live in is beautiful. We want you to ‘take notice’ of the sights, sounds and smells around you, and think about how they make you feel. Perhaps you will notice a vibrant flower, a butterfly fluttering by, or a stunning view that you pass every day but have never taken the time to admire. Now is the time to really see and enjoy your surroundings.

Call for pictures & stories:

We’d love you to share pictures of the beauty all around you and tell us how ‘taking notice’ made you feel. Don’t forget to use #TakeNotice and #5WaysToWellbeing
and let us know if we can share your pictures and stories on our public social media pages and website.
