The Welsh Government has launched a new consultation on Tackling Hate Crimes and Incidents and they need your comments about their proposed plan.
Jackie Minchin from Aberystwyth has just finished representing Wales in the Special Olympics GB National Games. Representing Wales, Jackie (who is supported my mirus) competed in the Aquatic event, winning 2 gold medals for 50m Backstroke and 50m Freestyle. Well done Jackie!
A number of people mirus help support have requested that they would like to have help with building friendships and increase their involvement in the community in around Bridgend and Maesteg area. They need your help to achieve this!
Collective response from mirus makes up largest contribution!
As a part of celebrating Carers Week 10th – 16th June 2013, mirus share the story of a carer they support via Respite. For Vee, caring for her brother and sister is a way of life.
Two Cardiff based artists, supported by mirus will be displaying their artwork at the Pen and Paper store in the Royal Arcade from 10th - 15th June. The artwork will also be displayed on the mirus web site with email bids invited for each piece. The proceeds will go towards new IT facilities at the mirus respite home.
