Stronger Communities are our social and community groups, run by Mirus staff and volunteers.
We want to create thriving, inclusive communities in all the regions that we work in, where everyone feels heard, valued and supported.
Cymunedau Cryfach | Stronger Communities
Our Stronger Communities groups bring people together from across the whole community – not just those supported by Mirus. We get involved with a wide range of activities, such as meals out, discos, walking, fitness, mini-golf and bowling. All activities are chosen by group members, and organised by volunteers – so there will always be an activity you will enjoy taking part in!
Together we build strong local networks that encourage people to explore new opportunities, develop relationships and find connections through shared experiences.
We are currently running popular Stronger Communities groups in Cardiff, Swansea and Neath Port Talbot – with plans to grow our groups in all regions that we work in the future.
Whether you’re looking to make new friends, discover new interests or just be part of something bigger, there’s a place for you with Stronger Communities.
