Become a Trustee

Join the Board of Trustees and help shape the future of mirus.

If you have good communication skills, love to work as part of a team, and are enthusiastic about supporting people with disabilities to reach their own personal goals, a role as a mirus Trustee could be perfect for you!

Trustees are volunteers who help mirus to achieve our goals by ensuring that we are always working towards them, and that we are operating within the law.  Our Trustees meet every three months to review the work of mirus. Although this role is voluntary, travel and out of pocket expenses are paid.

At the moment we’re especially keen to welcome new Board members with a disability, or who have a relative with a disability, and those who have a background in human resources or the social care sector.

You don’t need any previous experience as a Trustee to join our Board, we only ask that you’re committed, share our values and are keen to use your existing skills.
